Norwegian international goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen has joined Tottenham Hotspur Women from SK Brann, calling it a 'dream' move.

Norwegian international goalkeeper Selma Panengstuen has completed her transfer to Women's Super League side Tottenham Hotspur, describing it as a "dream" move. The 23-year-old joins from Bergen-based club SK Brann, where she played a key role in their second league title in 2025 under current Spurs manager Martin Ho.
Panengstuen started all 27 league matches that season, keeping 18 clean sheets. She made her international debut in June 2025 in a friendly against Sweden, and in September she played in a 1-0 home win over Manchester United in the first leg of a Women's Champions League qualifier. This season, she has continued her fine form with eight clean sheets in 11 games.
"This is a project that is going upwards," said Panengstuen, whose contract length was not disclosed. She added that she has friends at the club who have spoken highly of Tottenham. Ho praised her potential, highlighting her shot-stopping, courage, communication, athleticism, and mentality to improve daily.
