Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Manchester City to bring in forward Omar Marmoush on a loan basis. The deal includes an obligation for Tottenham to make the transfer permanent next summer, with a fee of £60m to be paid to Manchester City at that stage.

The arrangement means Marmoush will leave the Etihad Stadium to join Tottenham's squad, with the move set to become a permanent transfer once the obligation is triggered next year. Loan deals featuring a mandatory permanent obligation have become an increasingly common structure in Premier League transfer business, allowing clubs to spread costs and manage financial planning.

No further details on the length of the loan period or additional contract terms were included in the report.
