Spurs weigh £125m Gibbs-White move as Man Utd track Conte amid transfer talk

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a January move worth around £125m for Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, 26, having come close to signing the England midfielder during last summer's transfer window.

Manchester United are focused on building their young talent pipeline, keeping tabs on 16-year-old Lens midfielder Mezian Mesloub, who represents Portugal at youth level. At the same time, Old Trafford remains determined to hold on to 15-year-old English forward JJ Gabriel, who has attracted interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Chelsea now also entering the race for the teenager.

United's coaching situation is also under scrutiny, with the club monitoring Italian manager Antonio Conte as a possible successor to current boss Michael Carrick should his position become untenable. AC Milan and Juventus are similarly keeping an eye on Conte, who has been out of work since leaving Napoli last summer and is waiting for the right project.

Elsewhere, Atletico Madrid have renewed their interest in Bayer Leverkusen's 20-year-old midfield talent Ibrahim Maza as they look to bolster their engine room. Several Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Fulham and Tottenham, are watching Real Sociedad's Venezuelan defender Jon Aramburu, 24. Liverpool have opened preliminary talks with Monaco over Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara, 22, for a potential January switch. Arsenal are interested in Borussia Dortmund and Germany forward Maximilian Beier, 23, while Newcastle face competition from Barcelona for Djurgarden's Norwegian midfielder Bo Hegland, 22.
