Login and Klismete win the traditional Vienība cycling race

At the traditional Vienība cycling race, Login won the men's 95km race and Klismete the women's, while other categories saw separate winners.

At the traditional Latvian cyclists' Vienība race, the 95-kilometer distance was won on the men's side by Login, who also claimed victory in the U-18 category. He completed the course in 2 hours, 12 minutes and 41.1 seconds, finishing 12.8 seconds ahead of Kristers Kovgers and 18.7 seconds ahead of Jēkabs Zujevs. In the women's competition over the same distance, Klismete, also competing in the U-18 group, crossed the finish line after 2 hours, 21 minutes and 21.5 seconds, posting the 42nd-best overall result of the day among all participants. Ieva Jurēviča finished second, 20.4 seconds behind, while Renāte Rodionova took third, trailing the winner by 13 minutes and 17.5 seconds.

Other distances

In the 58-kilometer mountain bike race, Kristers Celitāns won with a time of 1 hour, 53 minutes and 32.7 seconds, ahead of Oskars Muižnieks (51.4 seconds back) and Everts Meijers (1 minute 2.5 seconds back). In the women's category, Helēna Mūrniece took first place, followed by Krista Pucite and Laura Ramane.

In the 62-kilometer gravel race, Mārtiņš Blūms took victory ahead of Roberts Slotiņš and Alekss Krasts, while among women Laura Dūma finished first, followed by Katrīna Sadovņikova and Lelde Ardava.

In the 47-kilometer public distance, Ralfs Zaļeskis won the men's category, while Lithuanian cyclist Elžbjeta Seļavaite was unbeaten among women.

The Vienība cycling race was first held in 1936, and by 1939 it had already gathered 6,226 cyclists. The tradition was revived after Latvia restored its independence in 1995.
