Underage worker killed in tractor-related accident at Eleja grain facility

Two fatal tractor-related accidents occurred in Latvia on Tuesday, and in one of them an underage worker died at a grain pre-processing complex in Eleja, the State Police told LETA.

Latvia recorded two fatal accidents involving tractor machinery on Tuesday, the State Police informed the LETA news agency.

In one of the incidents, an underage worker was killed. The accident took place at the grain pre-processing complex operated by "Latraps" in Eleja.

No further details have yet been released about the second accident or the precise circumstances of either incident. The State Police is continuing to investigate what happened.
