Trump Threatens to Bomb Iranian Nuclear Facility: 'We Are Not Done Yet'
US President Donald Trump said that Washington is not finished with Tehran and threatened to attack an underground nuclear facility near Natanz, known as 'Mountain of the Cut'.
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, during a meeting with the Lebanese president at the White House, issued new threats against Iran. He indicated that the next target could be an underground nuclear facility near Natanz, which Western intelligence believes is an undeclared uranium enrichment site.
Trump emphasized that the United States is not yet done with Tehran and will continue to act to prevent Iran's nuclear program. "We will soon attack that area and do it very thoroughly," Trump said, adding that he usually does not announce targets in advance but did so this time. He also claimed that the Iranians can do nothing to prevent the attack.
The president estimated that Iran would need more than 20 years to recover from current damage and stressed that the US "will not leave now." These remarks came as the US and Iran resumed hostilities on July 12, effectively breaking the ceasefire agreed in April. Fighting is mainly concentrated around the Strait of Hormuz.
