Trump Says He Is Open to Trilateral Summit With Putin and Xi

US President Donald Trump has said he is willing to take part in a three-way summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, according to Politico Europe.

The three countries are among the world's most influential powers, so such a meeting, if it happened, would be a significant diplomatic step. For now, however, it amounts only to Trump's stated openness to the idea.

The text available from the source does not say when or where a summit might take place, what issues it would cover, or how the Kremlin or Beijing have responded to Trump's remarks. These details therefore cannot be confirmed.
