Trump comments on possible resignation of UK Prime Minister
US President Donald Trump posted on social media about the possible resignation of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, citing his ‘serious failures’ on immigration and energy policy.

US President Donald Trump posted a message on Truth Social regarding the resignation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Trump wrote that Starmer would step down as Prime Minister of Great Britain, but did not clarify whether he had precise information or was simply commenting on media reports.
Trump also listed what he called Starmer’s “serious failures” in two extremely important areas: immigration and energy. He called for opening oil extraction in the North Sea and wished Starmer “all the best.”
Earlier, media reported that Starmer might announce his resignation on Monday. In March, Trump expressed sadness over relations with the UK after Starmer abstained from supporting the US operation against Iran. Starmer then promised to react “with a cool head” to the escalation of conflict in the Middle East.
