Trump: Military Operation in Cuba Possible

Former US President Donald Trump stated in the "Axios Show" that the US could conduct a military operation in Cuba, similar to a previous operation in Venezuela. When asked if such an operation is possible, Trump replied: "Possible. It is possible."

He emphasized that Cuba's proximity to the US would significantly simplify a potential operation compared to other regions like the Middle East or South America. Trump also referred to a US operation in Venezuela in January, during which, according to him, US forces captured Nicolás Maduro and removed him from power, after which US companies became more active in the country.

According to Axios, Washington is indeed considering various operation options in Cuba. However, Trump stressed his preference for peaceful means of regime change. He did not provide a specific timeline for any operation.
