Trump says Ukraine's strikes are causing a global fuel shortage

US President Donald Trump, currently on a two-day visit to Ireland, said he has warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the need to stop attacks on Russian facilities involved in diesel fuel production and supply.

According to Trump, such strikes are causing a shortage of diesel fuel around the world. He stressed that this shortage is not linked to events in the Middle East, but stems directly from the war between Russia and Ukraine.

Trump's appeal to Zelensky

Trump said Zelensky could continue striking other targets inside Russia, but urged him to refrain specifically from hitting diesel production and supply infrastructure. Trump made the remarks during his visit to Ireland, as reported by the news program "Aktuaalne Kaamera".
