Travis Kelce calls wedding to Taylor Swift 'the best night of my life'
NFL star Travis Kelce has publicly commented for the first time on his early July wedding to singer Taylor Swift, calling it the best night of his life. The couple married at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce has spoken publicly for the first time about his wedding to pop star Taylor Swift, which took place in early July, describing the evening as the best night of his life. Speaking at a briefing, he thanked everyone who came out to celebrate with the couple.
The three-time Super Bowl winner said the celebrations were full of joy, adding that it felt special to fulfil a childhood dream by getting married at Madison Square Garden, a venue he called the mecca of all sports arenas.
A secretive celebration
The couple, both 36, celebrated over two days on 2 and 3 July in New York. The event remains largely shrouded in mystery, as no photographs from the ceremony have been made public. The wedding was only confirmed through a statement from Swift's spokeswoman and a message displayed on the venue's giant screens.
It is known that the ceremony was officiated by comedian and actor Adam Sandler, that the couple's outfits were designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior, and that Swift wore Louboutin shoes. Around a thousand guests attended, including numerous celebrities, prompting nearby streets to be closed and a heavy police presence in the area.
New York mayor Zohran Mamdani revealed that the newlyweds paid the city $160,000 to cover the costs of the security operation. Journalist George Stephanopoulos said afterwards that despite the venue's enormous size, the event felt deeply personal and intimate. Meanwhile, AMC cinema chain chief Adam Aron posted, then deleted, a message on X describing the couple's vows as long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional and endearing.
Kelce and Swift went public with their relationship two years ago and announced their engagement in August 2025.
