Third-of-a-Century Award goes to Inguna Jansone's poetry collection "Bat Syndrome"

The organizers of the Third-of-a-Century Award have announced that its 2026 edition goes to poet Inguna Jansone (1963–2009) for her collection "Sikspārņa sindroms" ("Bat Syndrome").
The book was first published in 1993 by the publishing house "Garā pupa". More than three decades later, it has now been recognized with this award, which is specifically designed to honor literary works from a distance of roughly a third of a century after their original release.
