Estonian meteorologists forecast variable cloudiness for Wednesday, with cool, possibly foggy nights giving way to a much warmer day reaching up to 22 degrees. Isolated short showers are expected in places.
Estonia's public broadcaster ERR has released its weather outlook for Wednesday, pointing to a notable rise in temperature between night and day.
Overnight conditions
The night will bring slight to variable cloudiness with no precipitation. Fog is possible in some areas. Winds will blow from variable directions at 2 to 8 meters per second. Air temperatures overnight are expected to range from 5 to 11 degrees Celsius, though coastal areas could see readings as high as 15 degrees.
Daytime conditions
During the day, cloudiness will remain variable, with short-lived rain showers possible in isolated locations. The wind will shift to a northerly direction, blowing at 1 to 7 meters per second. Daytime temperatures will climb considerably, reaching between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius.
The forecast was prepared for the Estonian news program "Aktuaalne Kaamera." The sizeable gap between overnight and daytime temperatures reflects a typical late-summer weather pattern in the region, where nights remain relatively cool while afternoons already feel like midsummer.
