Three Rafting Events in Jēkabpils Region in July 2026
The association 'Sēlijas laivas' will hold three public rafting events on the Daugava River in July to highlight its natural uniqueness. The events take place on July 19, 25, and 26, catering to both beginners and experienced rafters.
To showcase the uniqueness of the Daugava River in the Jēkabpils region, the association 'Sēlijas laivas' is organizing three public rafting events this July. The first trip will be on July 19 on the Subdrabkalns – Meņķa dzirnavas route, specially designed for beginners and families with children. The second trip on July 25 will follow the route from the recreation site 'Daugmales' to Jēkabpils, also suitable for beginners. The third trip on July 26, from Jēkabpils to Zvejnieklīcis, is intended for experienced rafters.
All events start at 11:00. The exact boarding locations will be sent to registered participants. Registration closes when the maximum number of participants is reached. Application forms are available on the 'Sēlijas laivas' Facebook page and website.
Participants will be provided with rafting equipment and guided excursions by professionals. Shuttle transport will be available for drivers. The events are funded by the European Union. Participants must bring their own food and a positive attitude. Photography and filming will take place during the events.
