The 3x3 basketball Masters tournament in Mongolia continued on Saturday, June 27, 2026, with group stage matches. Three teams featuring Latvian players secured their spots in the quarterfinals.

Karlis Pauls Lasmanis, playing for the fifth-seeded "Shanghai" team, recorded two wins in Group D. They defeated fourth-seeded Amsterdam "Rabobank" 21:15 and 12th-seeded Lithuanian "Gargždai" 21:19. Lasmanis scored five points with four assists in the first game and seven points with three assists in the second. Shanghai will face second-seeded Serbian side "Liman" in the quarterfinals on Sunday.

Nauris Miezis' team "Ulaanbaatar", seeded sixth, triumphed in Group C. They beat third-seeded German "Skyliners" 15:13 and 11th-seeded German "Der Stamm" 21:10. In Group A, Francis Lacis' Chinese side "DeQing" (eighth seed) won both matches: 21:18 against "Ub" and 22:17 against Japanese "Shinjuku SS" (ninth seed), which includes Latvians Rihards Kuksiks and Marcis Osis. Lacis scored four points and grabbed two rebounds in the first game, then one point and two rebounds in the second. Kuksiks tallied nine points in each game, while Osis had three points and two rebounds in the first, and four points with three assists in the second.

The Japanese team did not qualify for the quarterfinals. "DeQing" will face German "Skyliners" in Sunday's quarterfinal.
