Three Old Riga Watch Robbers Plead Guilty, Fourth Still at Large
Three of four armed robbers who attacked a luxury watch store in Old Riga last April have pleaded guilty and will receive prison sentences, while the fourth remains at large. Investigators identified three mistakes that led to their capture.

On Tuesday, April 29 last year, four armed men attacked the luxury watch store Baltic Watches on Jāņa Street in Old Riga, opposite the Galerija Centrs department store. Security camera footage shows the first robber entering the store at 3:23 PM after the guard pressed the doorbell button. He wore a black wig and stylized glasses with yellow lenses. Immediately upon entering, he pointed an object resembling a firearm at the guard and shouted "Get down!" Two female employees and a visitor dropped to the floor and tried to hide behind chairs.
Three of the four robbers have now pleaded guilty and will be sentenced to prison. The fourth attacker remains at large. Investigators have revealed that three mistakes made by the criminals helped authorities track them down, although further details about these errors have not been disclosed.
