Troy Deeney's Premier League Team of the Week: Arsenal, Tottenham and Coventry Well Represented
BBC football pundit Troy Deeney has picked his best XI from the latest round of English Premier League matches. Several Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Coventry players made the cut, and Coventry boss Frank Lampard was named manager of the week.

Another round of the Premier League, England's top football division, has finished, and BBC pundit Troy Deeney, a former player who now analyses matches, has named his team of the week. He selects such a side after every round this season.
Goalkeeper and defence
Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen takes the place in goal. In Deeney's view, Brighton should have lost by two or three goals given how the match went, and it was Verbruggen's saves that prevented it.
The back four features Tottenham Hotspur's Archie Gray and Jan Paul van Hecke, along with Arsenal's Ezri Konsa and Jurrien Timber. Deeney noted that Gray scored and defended well, while Van Hecke also found the net. On Timber, he said the defender got away with a shirt pull on Alexander Isak and that he was surprised the referee and the video assistant referee (VAR) did not look at it.
Midfield and attack
In midfield are Chelsea's Romeo Lavia, Arsenal captain Declan Rice, Coventry's Tatsuhiro Sakamoto and Aston Villa's 21-year-old Johan Manzambi, who added another assist. Deeney said Lavia was the only constant presence for Chelsea while the team was disorganised, before Manchester United were reduced to 10 men.
Up front he chose Hull's Ollie McBurnie and Coventry's Taiwo Awoniyi, who scored a solo goal.
Manager of the week
Deeney's manager of the week is Coventry's Frank Lampard, whose side beat Sunderland in what the pundit called a six-pointer. He also gave a special nod to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for getting the job done at Liverpool.
