Man Utd and Liverpool eye Truffert as Odegaard nears new Arsenal deal
British media report that both Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Bournemouth defender Adrien Truffert. Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is expected to sign a new long-term contract.

According to British media reports, clubs in England continue to monitor the transfer market closely, though all of the information so far remains speculation.
Interest in Truffert
Manchester United are expected to face serious competition from Liverpool in the race for Bournemouth and France left-back Adrien Truffert. The player is 24 and is valued at about £60m.
Arsenal and other deals
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, 27, is expected to follow manager Mikel Arteta in signing a new long-term contract with the club. Arsenal are also reportedly ready to make another attempt in January to bring in Atletico Madrid and Argentina striker Julian Alvarez, 26, who is said to be seriously considering a move to north London.
Newcastle United are favourites to beat Nottingham Forest to the signing of Lyon midfielder Tyler Morton. The 23-year-old is impressing in France after leaving Liverpool last year.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are all watching England defender Jarell Quansah, 23, who continues to perform well for Bayer Leverkusen.
Barcelona are reportedly tracking 19-year-old Athletico Paranaense defender Arthur Dias from Brazil, who earlier drew an £18m bid from Tottenham.
Free agent
Former Real Madrid full-back Dani Carvajal remains without a club after the 34-year-old's move to Getafe collapsed. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are keen on Tottenham youngster Luca Williams-Barnett, who made his Spurs debut at the age of 16.
