TTT Riga and Valmiera Learn Opponents in European Cups
Latvian basketball teams TTT Riga (women) and Valmiera (men) have learned their opponents for the upcoming European cup competitions – clubs from Turkey and France.
Following the football clubs, the last Latvian basketball teams have also found out their opponents in European cup competitions. The women's team TTT Riga and the men's team Valmiera now know who they will face this autumn.
Earlier, other Latvian basketball teams – Rīgas Zeļļi and VEF Rīga – had already learned their opponents. Now the remaining two teams have their challengers, coming from two of Europe's leading basketball countries: Turkey and France.
Fans can look forward to several exciting matches, as Turkish and French clubs are traditionally strong and experienced in international competitions. Specific details about the exact clubs and match dates have not yet been announced, but intense battles are expected.
