Tusk says Moscow likely behind fire at Polish drone factory

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk told a cabinet meeting on Wednesday that a fire which broke out Monday at defense company WB Electronics was an act of deliberate arson, and that Russia is likely responsible.
WB Electronics ranks among Poland's largest private defense manufacturers. The company produces reconnaissance drones and loitering munitions, including the FlyEye and Warmate models, which Ukraine has deployed against Russian forces.
According to Polish radio reports, firefighters extinguished the blaze quickly and no injuries were reported.
Tusk framed the incident as part of a broader pattern of escalatory actions by Russia across the region, noting that this was not the first such case and, in his assessment, would not be the last.
The prime minister's remarks underscore growing concern in Poland over possible Russian sabotage targeting companies that support Ukraine's defense capabilities, amid heightened regional tension linked to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
