Participants represent diverse sectors
The broadcast featured Normunds Bergs, vice president of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Sarmis Spilbergs, vice president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Latvia — both offering perspectives from the business community on the election process.
The environmental sector was represented by Madara Merle, coordinator of the environmental organization coalition "Green Barometer" (Zaļais barometrs). The real estate sector's view was presented by Aigars Šmits, chairman of the board of the Latvian Real Estate Transactions Association.
The cultural sector was represented by Gints Grūbe, a board member of the Latvian Film Producers Association. The discussion on public debate culture was joined by Alans Baguzins, head of the debate club "Logus debate." Meanwhile, the diaspora perspective was contributed by Austra Krēsliņa, creator of the podcast "Diasporāts."
