TV tonight: The Voice UK welcomes new judge Kelly Rowland
Singer Kelly Rowland joins the judging panel for a new series of The Voice UK, as British television's evening schedule also features other entertainment shows and live sport.
A new series of The Voice UK kicks off tonight, bringing singer Kelly Rowland into the judging panel alongside returning coaches Tom Jones, will.i.am, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones. Emma Willis continues as host, though this could potentially be her final series. The show also introduces a new "rewind" feature, letting judges reconsider and bring back a contestant they previously passed on.

Comedian and actor Katherine Ryan returns for a celebrity edition of Deal Or No Deal, once again attempting to win money for charity by opening 22 red boxes under host Stephen Mulhern's watch. Over on BBC One, Alan Carr hosts a lighthearted image-guessing quiz called Picture Slam, where paired contestants race to identify pictures. BBC Two airs a Proms concert tribute to Marvin Gaye, conducted by Edwin Outwater and featuring singer Luke James performing new arrangements of the soul legend's hits, hosted by Andi Oliver. BBC Four continues its drama Kabul, depicting the chaotic aftermath of the 2021 US withdrawal from Afghanistan. Channel 5 airs a documentary examining the finances and income sources of Reform UK leader Nigel Farage.

BBC Two shows the 1943 wartime submarine thriller We Dive at Dawn, starring John Mills, while Channel 4 airs the superhero film Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. Sports coverage includes day four of the England v Pakistan Test cricket, Premier League football fixtures, a stage of the women's Tour of Britain cycling race, the opening time-trial stage of the men's Vuelta a España, and the European Gymnastics Championships.
