Ugreen launches world's first liquid-cooled wireless charging power bank

Ugreen has begun selling a new magnetic wireless power bank called the MagFlow Pro, which the company claims is the world's first power bank with wireless charging to feature a liquid-cooling system. The device went on sale today for $149.99, a notably high price given its relatively modest 10,000mAh battery capacity.

Inside the MagFlow Pro is a micro-pump that circulates coolant to draw heat away from internal components, including the Qi2.2-compatible wireless charging coil. A transparent window on the front of the device lets users visually observe the coolant flowing inside.

The cooling system works alongside copper foil and a design that physically separates charging components to reduce heat buildup. This is intended to extend the lifespan of both the power bank's own battery and the connected phone's battery, while also helping maintain wireless charging output of up to 25W. According to Ugreen, the design should leave the device cooler to the touch after extended charging sessions compared to standard power banks.

Beyond wireless charging, the MagFlow Pro includes a built-in USB-C cable lanyard and a separate USB-C port, both capable of charging at up to 45W. However, 45W is also the device's overall maximum output, meaning that charging speeds will drop for each connected device when multiple devices are charged simultaneously.
