Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukraine's former defence minister, announced on Wednesday evening that Starlink operation has been partly restored in the country. Starlink is a satellite internet system, and its terminals are used in Ukraine for connectivity.
According to Fedorov, the terminals are again working for objects in motion, provided their speed does not exceed 160 kilometres per hour. In other words, connectivity has been restored for moving equipment fitted with the terminals, but only up to that speed threshold.
What is known
The source specifies only that the restoration is partial and that the limit relates to travel speed. The announcement does not say which objects or devices are affected, or why operation had been restricted.
Fedorov made the announcement on Wednesday evening.
