Ukraine to see rain, thunderstorms and highs up to +31°C
Ukraine's hydrometeorological centre forecasts unsettled, warm weather over the coming days with scattered rain and thunderstorms, while daytime temperatures in some regions could climb as high as +31°C.

Ukraine's Hydrometeorological Centre says the country will experience warm but changeable weather in the coming days, with brief rain showers and thunderstorms expected in several regions.
Day-by-day outlook
On August 27, most of Ukraine — except the north — will see variable cloudiness with brief rain and localized thunderstorms. Night-time temperatures will range from 8-13°C, rising to 14-19°C in the south and southeast. Daytime highs will reach 21-26°C, with mostly northeasterly winds of 5-10 metres per second.
In Kyiv on Thursday, light rain is expected, with overnight temperatures of 14-16°C and daytime highs up to +23°C.
Rain will move into the south and southeast on August 28, while August 29 will bring brief rain and thunderstorms to the west, with the rest of the country staying dry. Night-time temperatures will range from 8-15°C, or 13-19°C in southern areas, with daytime highs of 21-28°C. On August 29, temperatures in the Zakarpattia region and the south could reach as high as 31°C.
Winds will blow from the northeast, gradually shifting southeast, at 7-12 metres per second, with gusts of 15-20 metres per second possible in the south on August 28 and in the west on August 29.
In Kyiv, Friday and Saturday will be dry, with overnight lows of 13-16°C and daytime highs up to +25°C.
