Ukrainian news outlet Ukrainska Pravda has announced that only 13 days remain to submit nominations for its annual UP100 award.

The award recognizes a hundred Ukrainians who take responsibility, drive change and shape the country's future. Potential honorees include military personnel and volunteers, entrepreneurs, government officials, scientists, athletes, as well as cultural and civic figures.

This year's theme

This year's award theme is "Freedom to Be." The publication stresses that UP100 is not a popularity prize but recognition for people whose decisions, ideas and daily work strengthen Ukraine. That is why the nomination process is open, aiming to highlight those who choose their own path based on inner freedom.

Selection process

The final list of winners will be determined by a vote of an expert jury. Candidates can be proposed by filling out a nomination form. The names of the hundred laureates will be announced at the UP100 award ceremony in early December 2026.
