Ukraine launched more than 600 drones at Moscow and the surrounding region overnight into Tuesday, continuing its intensive campaign against targets inside Russia following even larger strikes over the weekend. Drones reportedly hit a warehouse belonging to Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries along with other facilities near Moscow, according to Reuters. At least three people were injured.

Several other Russian-controlled regions also reported heavy attacks, including occupied Crimea, where the peninsula's power supplier reported outages.

Meanwhile, at least ten people were killed in a Russian strike on Pechenihy, a village in Ukraine's Kharkiv region. Ukrainian officials said the strike hit private houses and shops.

Ukraine accuses Putin of dragging out the war

Ukraine's foreign minister, Andrii Sybiha, said Vladimir Putin continues to prolong the war rather than accept Ukraine's realistic ceasefire proposals. He said Moscow must face growing costs for continuing the conflict, including further sanctions, isolation and accountability for Russian crimes. Sybiha called on international partners to support accountability efforts, including the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine, which is due to begin operating in The Hague soon.

Russia threatens UK over British drones

Russia has warned Britain of unspecified "consequences" following reports that Ukraine used drones made by two UK companies to strike targets on Russian territory for the first time. Russia's embassy in London said the reports confirmed British efforts to escalate the conflict and cause damage to Russia by proxy. A UK Ministry of Defence spokesperson said Britain remains committed to supplying Ukraine with the equipment it needs to defend itself against Russian aggression.
