Ukraine: 1,660 Russian troops and over 600 pieces of equipment eliminated in past day

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff has released updated figures on Russian military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. According to the report, Ukrainian defense forces killed or wounded 1,660 Russian soldiers over the past 24 hours, bringing the estimated total personnel losses to approximately 1,519,650.

Equipment losses

The General Staff data also shows more than 600 pieces of military equipment destroyed in the same period. This includes 5 additional tanks destroyed, bringing the total to 12,361, along with 4 armored combat vehicles (total 25,365) and 75 artillery systems (total 50,142).

The report also lists 3 destroyed multiple rocket launcher systems (bringing the total to 2,149), 3 air defense systems (total 1,662), and 17 ground robotic systems (total 2,712).

Drones and other equipment

The largest increase was recorded in the drone category — 1,728 operational-tactical level drones were destroyed over the past day, bringing the cumulative total to 527,693 units. Additionally, 516 vehicles and fuel trucks were destroyed (total 151,861), along with 13 units of special equipment (total 4,729).

The General Staff notes that the figures are being verified and may be updated as further information becomes available from the front.
