Ukraine: Over 1,690 Russian troops and 600-plus equipment units eliminated in past day
Ukraine's armed forces report killing or wounding 1,690 Russian occupiers in the past day, bringing total enemy personnel losses since the start of the full-scale war to nearly 1.53 million. More than 600 pieces of equipment were also destroyed or damaged.
Ukraine's General Staff reports that Russian forces suffered 1,690 personnel losses, killed and wounded, over the past day. From the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through September 27, 2026, total Russian personnel losses are estimated at approximately 1,528,970.
Equipment losses
According to the General Staff, more than 600 units of various military equipment were destroyed or damaged over the past day. Cumulative Russian equipment losses since the war began now stand at:
- tanks – 12,384 (+8 in the past day);
- armored combat vehicles – 25,442 (+7);
- artillery systems – 50,428 (+57);
- multiple rocket launcher systems – 2,163 (+3);
- air defense systems – 1,677 (+4);
- aircraft – 444 (+1);
- ground robotic systems – 2,762 (+14);
- operational-tactical level drones – 535,846 (+1,826);
- motor vehicles and fuel tankers – 154,245 (+517);
- special equipment – 4,756 (+7).
