Ukraine: 1,490 Russian troops neutralized in past day, General Staff says
Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff reports that 1,490 Russian occupiers were neutralized over the past day, with total enemy personnel losses in the war now exceeding 1.5 million.

The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces has reported that Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 1,490 Russian invaders over the past 24 hours. Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through September 11 this year have reached approximately 1,503,880 troops.
Military equipment losses
Both personnel and equipment losses continue to climb. Since the war began, Russia has lost 12,341 tanks (up 2 from the previous report), 25,312 armored combat vehicles (+7), and 49,516 artillery systems (+64).
The General Staff also recorded increases in multiple rocket launcher systems, now totaling 2,109 units (+2), and air defense assets, at 1,622 units (+4).
Drones and other vehicles
The fastest-growing category remains operational-tactical level drones, with 510,130 destroyed or damaged in total — an increase of 1,925 over the previous count. Ground robotic systems losses also rose, reaching 2,573 units (+23).
Russian forces have additionally lost 147,211 vehicles and fuel tankers (+590), along with 4,666 units of special equipment (+16).
The General Staff notes that the figures are being verified and may be adjusted as damage and loss assessments continue.
