Ukrainian forces eliminate 1,370 Russian troops in past day – General Staff
Total Russian personnel losses since the start of the war have exceeded 1,431,900, while equipment losses continue to mount.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russian losses as of July 21. According to the report, Ukrainian defenders neutralized 1,370 invaders over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of eliminated Russian soldiers since February 24, 2022 to approximately 1,431,900.
Significant equipment losses were also reported. In the past day, Ukrainian forces destroyed 3 Russian tanks (total 12,161), 7 armored fighting vehicles (total 24,978), 92 artillery systems (total 46,435), 2 multiple launch rocket systems (total 1,955), and 2 air defense systems (total 1,513).
Additionally, the Ukrainian military eliminated 5 ground robotic complexes (total 1,970), 1,865 operational-tactical UAVs (total 420,290), 453 trucks and fuel tankers (total 123,347), and 8 units of special equipment (total 4,441).
The General Staff noted that the figures are being updated. Russia’s official statements on its losses usually differ from the data provided by Ukraine.
