Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi has denied information published by the British outlet The Guardian suggesting that several foreign countries were considering or preparing to evacuate their diplomatic missions from Kyiv.

Tykhyi stated that Ukraine's foreign partners have not informed Kyiv of any intentions to relocate their embassies or reduce staff numbers there. This indicates the ministry has not received confirmation of such plans from the countries supposedly involved.

The statement comes in response to the Guardian article, whose full contents are not detailed in the available source material, but which apparently raised questions about the security situation in Ukraine's capital and the continued presence of foreign diplomatic missions there.

Through this denial, Ukraine's foreign affairs service appears to be aiming to tamp down speculation that the international community might view the situation in Kyiv as unsafe enough to warrant relocating diplomatic missions to other cities or countries.
