Ukraine's Foreign Minister Urges Iran to Avoid Escalation in Phone Call

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha initiated a phone conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, according to a statement from Sybiha on social media. The call was described as direct and frank.

He urged his Iranian counterpart to refrain from any steps that might lead to further escalation and to cease all forms of support for Russia's war effort in Ukraine.
