Ukraine's military neutralizes 1,540 Russian troops in a day, General Staff says
Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff reports 1,540 Russian occupiers were neutralized over the past 24 hours, bringing total personnel losses to roughly 1,523,980 since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Ukraine's General Staff released updated figures on Tuesday covering Russian military losses since February 24, 2022. According to the report, Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 1,540 Russian troops over the past day, pushing cumulative personnel losses to approximately 1,523,980.
Equipment losses
The General Staff also reported losses in military equipment. Over the past 24 hours, 15 armored combat vehicles were destroyed or damaged, bringing the total to 25,402 units. Artillery system losses rose by 24 to reach 50,240, while multiple launch rocket systems increased by two to 2,154.
Air defense asset losses grew by four to 1,669, and the number of destroyed aircraft rose by one to 443 — this figure relates to a previous period and was confirmed later. Losses of ground robotic systems increased by four to 2,727.
Drones and vehicles
The largest increase was recorded in operational-tactical drones, up by 792 to a total of 531,352. Losses of vehicles and fuel tankers rose by 229 to 152,782, while special equipment losses increased by three to 4,740.
The General Staff noted that the figures are being verified and may be updated.
