General Staff: 224 combat engagements recorded since start of day, heaviest fighting on Pokrovsk and Huliaipole axes
Since the morning of July 2, there have been 224 combat engagements on the front, 28 on the Pokrovsk axis and 20 on the Huliaipole axis. The enemy launched 75 missiles, 187 guided bombs, and over 6,300 drones.
According to the evening update of the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff, as of 22:00 on July 2, a total of 224 combat engagements had occurred since the beginning of the day. The most intense clashes took place on the Pokrovsk axis (28 engagements) and the Huliaipole axis (20).
The enemy delivered two missile strikes using 75 missiles, conducted 62 airstrikes dropping 187 guided aerial bombs, and deployed 6,368 kamikaze drones. Additionally, 2,145 shelling attacks were carried out against Ukrainian settlements and military positions.
Engagements on other axes include: North Slobozhanske and Kursk – 5; South Slobozhanske – 15; Lyman – 7; Sloviansk – 26; Kramatorsk – 1; Kostiantynivka – 13; and Oleksandrivka – 2.
