Ukraine's forces neutralize 1,540 Russian troops in past day, General Staff says
Ukraine's General Staff reports 1,540 Russian occupiers were neutralized over the past day, bringing total Russian personnel losses since the full-scale invasion began to nearly 1.5 million.

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff released updated combat loss figures on Thursday, stating that Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 1,540 Russian invaders over the previous 24 hours.
Since the full-scale invasion began on February 24, 2022, total Russian personnel losses have reached approximately 1,497,980 as of September 7 this year.
Equipment losses
The General Staff also published figures on destroyed or disabled Russian military equipment. Since the war began, losses include 12,332 tanks (up by one), 25,284 armored combat vehicles (up six), 49,311 artillery systems (up 51), 2,103 multiple rocket launcher systems (up seven), and 1,609 air defense systems (up four).
Additionally, Russia has lost 2,516 ground robotic systems (up nine), 502,717 operational-tactical level drones (up 1,473), 145,026 vehicles and fuel tankers (up 591), and 4,647 units of special equipment (up three).
The General Staff noted that the figures are being verified and may be updated.
