Ukraine's General Staff: Strike drone facility hit in occupied Donetsk region
Ukraine's armed forces struck a Russian strike-drone storage and launch site in occupied Donetsk region, along with two ammunition depots in Luhansk region, over 26-27 September.
Ukraine's General Staff has reported a series of strikes carried out by the country's defence forces on 26 September and during the night of 26-27 September against Russian military infrastructure in occupied territories.
In occupied Donetsk region, Ukrainian forces hit a facility that Russian troops had been using to store, prepare and launch strike drones.
Strikes in Luhansk region
In occupied Luhansk region, two ammunition depots were struck, located in the settlements of Kripenske and Luhansk. Additionally, a fuel and lubricants depot was hit in Novoamvrosiivske, Donetsk region.
The General Staff emphasized that targeting facilities used for storing, preparing and launching strike drones remains one of the priority directions of combat operations for Ukraine's defence forces.
Background
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that over the past week Russia used more than 2,200 strike drones, around 1,650 aerial bombs and 38 missiles of various types against Ukraine, with a significant share of them being ballistic missiles.
