Ukrainian Armed Forces Strike Russian Oil Infrastructure and Vessels in the Sea of Azov
Ukraine's General Staff reported on Sunday that its forces hit an oil refinery in Russia's Samara region, ten oil tankers, and four ferries in the Sea of Azov.

Attack on Syzran Refinery
On Sunday, July 12, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced successful strikes against Russian military and energy infrastructure. According to the statement, Ukrainian forces targeted an oil refinery in Syzran, Samara region. The attack caused explosions and a fire at the facility.
Strikes on Ships and Ferries in the Sea of Azov
Additionally, the Ukrainian military struck ten Russian oil tankers and four ferries in the Sea of Azov. The General Staff noted that the tankers were used to circumvent international sanctions and transport Russian oil and oil products, while the ferries supported Russian military logistics.
Blow to a Fuel Train
Furthermore, Ukrainian forces hit a Russian train carrying fuel in the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, near Tokmak. The extent of damage and casualties is currently unknown.
