Ukrainian Army Reports 1,290 Russian Soldiers Killed or Wounded in a Day
Ukraine's General Staff announced that 1,290 Russian troops were killed or wounded in the past 24 hours, along with updated cumulative loss figures since the start of the war.

According to data released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian military suffered significant losses in the last 24 hours. Specifically, 1,290 invaders were reported as killed or wounded. This information is part of a regular update on the course of hostilities.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Ukrainian forces claim to have destroyed a substantial amount of Russian military equipment. Cumulative losses include 12,049 tanks, 24,797 armored personnel carriers, 44,479 artillery pieces and mortars, 1,885 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,435 anti-aircraft systems, 436 aircraft, and 353 helicopters.
Additionally, 1,703 ground unmanned systems, 364,149 unmanned aerial vehicles, 4,787 cruise missiles, 33 ships and speedboats, and two submarines have been destroyed. In terms of vehicles, 109,817 trucks and fuel tankers have been lost, along with 4,316 units of special equipment.
The General Staff emphasizes that the loss data is being clarified, as information gathering is hindered by ongoing combat conditions. These figures reflect only those losses the Ukrainian side has been able to document.
