Ukrainian drones again hit Russia's Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai
Overnight Ukrainian drone strikes damaged an oil depot in Russia's Rostov region and an industrial facility in Krasnodar Krai, with no casualties reported.
Ukrainian drones attacked Russia's Rostov region again overnight into September 24, regional governor Yuri Slyusar reported. Air defense systems intercepted the drones over the city of Taganrog and the Kagalnitsky and Neklinovsky districts.
In Kagalnitsky district, falling drone debris damaged administrative buildings at an oil depot. Slyusar said no fire broke out and no one was injured.
Industrial facility hit in Krasnodar Krai
In the neighboring Krasnodar Krai, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in Dinsky district after being struck by falling debris from Ukrainian drones, according to the region's emergency response headquarters. Officials did not specify the type of facility, but confirmed there were no injuries.
40 drones downed overnight
Russia's Defense Ministry stated that a total of 40 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight across Russian regions and occupied Crimea. The strikes are part of a continuing pattern of Ukrainian drone attacks reaching deep into Russian territory, affecting energy and industrial infrastructure in border regions.
