Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles carried out a mass attack on the Russian cities of Lipetsk and Tula, as well as the Moscow region, overnight into Thursday. The reports come from the Ukrainian Telegram channels "Exilenova+" and "Supernova+". The strikes are part of the Russia–Ukraine war and affected several Russian regions, including the area around the capital. According to the channels, missiles may also have been used in the attack.

Damage in Lipetsk

Video footage published by the channels contains the sound of explosions and shows the aftermath of the hits. Igor Artamonov, governor of the Lipetsk region, said that several multi-storey residential buildings and private houses were damaged in the strike. One person was injured and taken to hospital.

A polyclinic was also damaged. It was closed at the time of the attack, so there were no casualties there.

Moscow region

Telegram channels report that the Moscow region was also apparently hit by a missile strike. The source gives no further details on the consequences in Tula or the Moscow region, and the reports about the attack rely mainly on Ukrainian Telegram channels.
