Ukraine hits Wildberries warehouse in Russia’s Vladimir region

Ukrainian drones struck a logistics center belonging to the online marketplace Wildberries in the Vladimir region early on August 3, the company said. The building housing the logistics center caught fire, and Wildberries said employees were evacuated. Preliminary reports indicated that no one was injured.

Vladimir Governor Alexander Avdeev said Ukrainian drones attacked the warehouse in the Sobinsky district. “There’s damage, there’s a fire,” he added, saying three people were injured in the attack.

Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels, citing video footage from witnesses, identified the facility as Wildberries’ “Vladimir–Vorshinskoye” logistics center, located near the village of Khryastovo in the Vladimir region. The video contains profanity.

Ukrainian drones have struck warehouses and logistics centers belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest marketplace, almost daily since mid-July. The Vladimir region warehouse became the 18th of the company’s logistics centers to come under attack.

Ukraine states that the warehouses and logistics centers are used to supply “sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment.”
