Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery in the Russian city of Perm overnight into Monday, according to the Ukrainian Telegram channels "Exilenova+" and "Supernova+".

While the drones were reportedly aimed at the industrial facility, the strike also affected a nearby apartment building. No detailed official information about casualties or the extent of damage has been released so far.

Perm is located in Russia's Ural region, and its oil refinery is one of the country's significant fuel-processing facilities. Refineries of this kind have repeatedly appeared among the targets of Ukrainian drone strikes since the start of the war, as they supply fuel for the Russian military and economy.

Reports of the attack have spread mainly through Ukrainian Telegram channels, and independent confirmation from Russian sources has not yet been available.
