Ukraine's drone forces report record month for Russian personnel losses in October
Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces, said his units hit one Russian service member every 159 seconds in October. He called it the highest figure for the grouping since the full-scale war began.

Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) who goes by the call sign "Madyar", said on Telegram that in October units of the USF grouping hit an enemy target on average every 41 seconds, and a Russian service member every 159 seconds. According to him, the month set a record for losses inflicted on enemy personnel since the full-scale war began.
Key figures
Brovdi said that during October the grouping's units struck 64,807 enemy targets, and Russian personnel losses totalled 16,796 people. That figure is 52.55% higher than in August and 24.71% higher than in September. The daily average was 542 Russian troops, while the highest single-day figure, 701, was recorded on 24 October.
In total, the grouping's units carried out 255,605 combat missions over the month. About 151,500 of them were strike missions and 104,000 were reconnaissance missions.
Where losses were highest
Around 69.5% of Russian personnel losses occurred in three sectors: Dobropillia–Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka and Huliaipole.
Data source
Brovdi stressed that the figures cover only units of the USF grouping and do not include results of other components of Ukraine's Defence Forces. He said all results were verified in the situational awareness system "Delta". The data comes from the commander himself, and the source does not provide independent confirmation.
