Ukrainian Drone Attacks on Wildberries Warehouses Cause 60 Billion Rubles in Damages

According to calculations by the Russian newspaper Kommersant, Ukrainian forces have used drones to attack several warehouses of the Russian e-commerce platform Wildberries over the past week. The total area affected is 552,000 square meters, or about 10% of the company's total warehouse space.

The attacks targeted warehouses in Elektrostal (Moscow region), Kotovsk (Tambov region), Nevinnomyssk (Stavropol region), and Krasnodar. Additionally, on July 22, drones struck another warehouse in the Voronezh region, which has not yet been included in the damage assessment.

Experts estimate the value of damaged property at 60 billion rubles. As a result of the attacks, Wildberries can no longer use 444,000 square meters of warehouse space, roughly 8% of its logistics capacity. The Kotovsk complex, however, is reported to still be operational.

Sources told Kommersant that the drone strikes targeted key logistics hubs, such as the Krasnodar center, which is the main node for supplying southern Russia. It is expected that Wildberries may shift its supply model from its own warehouses to direct deliveries from sellers' warehouses, as well as redistribute goods flows to other regions and lease additional storage space.
