Ukrainian Drone Strikes Kill Three in Russia's Belgorod Region
Local Russian authorities say Ukrainian drones killed three people and wounded at least four in the Belgorod region on Wednesday. In Ukraine, officials report that the death toll from a Russian strike on an aid distribution point in Zaporizhzhia has risen to 37.

Ukrainian drone attacks killed three people and injured at least four others on Wednesday in Russia's Belgorod region, which lies in the country's southwest and borders Ukraine, local authorities reported in the afternoon. The strikes come as both sides continue to hit targets on each other's territory during Russia's war in Ukraine.
The regional crisis response center said a married couple died when a drone struck their car in a village roughly 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) east of the border with Ukraine's northern Sumy region. In a separate incident near the town of Shebekino, which is closer to the border with Ukraine's Kharkiv region, a drone hit a cargo truck and killed a man.
Earlier on Wednesday, Belgorod Governor Alexander Shuvayev said six people had been wounded in attacks over the previous 24 hours.
Death toll rises in Zaporizhzhia
In Ukraine, officials said the number of people killed in a Russian attack on an aid distribution point in the southern Zaporizhzhia region earlier this week has reached 37. Dozens more are still missing.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russian forces first dropped aerial bombs on the distribution point as people were arriving to collect aid, and then hit the shelter with additional bombs.
