Ukraine's General Staff: 207 combat clashes recorded on frontline since start of day
Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff reports 207 combat clashes along the front since the start of September 17, while Russian forces used a missile, dozens of air strikes and thousands of kamikaze drones.

According to a report by Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff, compiled as of 22:00 on Wednesday, September 17, 207 combat clashes have been recorded along the front since the start of the day.
The report states that Russian forces carried out one missile strike and 68 air strikes using 201 guided aerial bombs during this period. They also deployed 5,927 kamikaze drones in attacks. In addition, Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas were shelled 2,113 times.
Situation across frontline sectors
The General Staff also provided detailed figures on combat activity in specific frontline directions since the start of the day.
One assault action was recorded in the North Sloboda-Kursk direction. In the South Sloboda direction, the number of such actions reached 12. Three assault actions took place in the Kupiansk direction, while ten occurred in the Lyman direction.
Four assault actions were recorded in the Sloviansk direction and two in the Kramatorsk direction. The highest levels of combat activity were seen in the Kostiantynivka direction, with 15 assault actions, and the Pokrovsk direction, where the count reached 21 — the highest figure among all the directions listed.
One assault action was recorded in the Oleksandrivka direction, five in the Huliaipole direction, and three in the Orikhiv direction.
