Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff reports 215 combat clashes on the front so far. Russian attacks are most numerous in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka sectors.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on 17 October that 215 combat clashes have already taken place along the front line in the war with Russia. Its regular combat reports are the main official source of information on the situation at the front.
The General Staff says Russian forces have carried out the most attacks in three sectors: Pokrovsk, Huliaipole and Kostiantynivka. The Pokrovsk sector has seen the highest number of clashes.
The brief General Staff statement gives no other details, such as losses or the situation in individual settlements.
