Ukraine's new remote turret uses twin AK-74 rifles and relies on Starlink when signal drops

Ukrainian technology firm Roboneers has finalized work on a new remote-controlled turret called the ShaBlya K-2. The turret is equipped with two AK-74 assault rifles mounted on a single platform, doubling fire density to provide more effective close-range infantry cover. It replaces a heavy machine gun, offering greater firepower and mobility. To ensure continuous operation, the ShaBlya K-2 integrates with the Starlink satellite communication system, which takes over control when the primary signal is lost. This allows operators to maintain command even under adverse conditions. Roboneers is known for developing unmanned ground vehicles and other military innovations supporting Ukraine's armed forces. The ShaBlya K-2 is intended for battlefield use to support infantry and enhance firepower.
