Ukrainian soldiers with severe combat injuries receive treatment and rehabilitation in Latvia
Ukrainian soldier Serhii Dzon, who suffered a severe spinal injury on the front line, is recovering in Latvia, where microsurgeons have helped him partially regain his ability to move. This is already his second visit for continued treatment and rehabilitation.

Ukrainian soldier Serhii Dzon suffered a severe spinal injury on the front line that left him without sensation in his left arm and unable to control movement across nearly the entire left side of his body.
The injury drastically changed his life — he now relies on a cane to get around. According to the soldier, the treatment provided by Latvian microsurgeons has played an important role in his recovery, helping him partially regain his ability to move.
Second visit to Latvia
This is already Serhii's second visit to Latvia, where he has come to continue his treatment and rehabilitation. His case and recovery were reported on by LTV Ziņas.
The case is one example of how Latvia is providing medical assistance to Ukrainian soldiers who sustained serious injuries on the battlefield.
